2010… Surf Dog Ricochet, the SURFice dog who lives a lifestyle of helping others by pawing it forward, has achieved two new milestones yesterday – 20,000 fans on Facebook, and $75,000 in donations raised for human/animal causes. These milestones have prompted Ricochet to kick off a new initiative, <em><strong>“Raise Awareness Wednesdays”</strong></em> which will help spread the word for even more causes through her social networking platform. </p> <p>Many people join Ricochet’s <a title="http://facebook page/" href="mhtml:{A32F8523-A5E7-483F-957B-645762658321}mid://00001815/!x-usc:http://facebook%20page/"><span style="color: #0000ff;">Facebook page</span></a> after watching her inspirational video, “From service dog to SURFice dog”, (<a title="http://bit.ly/9jZ5uV" href="mhtml:{A32F8523-A5E7-483F-957B-645762658321}mid://00001815/!x-usc:http://bit.ly/9jZ5uV"><span style="color: #0000ff;">http://bit.ly/9jZ5uV</span></a>) that went viral on YouTube with more than 3.2 million views. Others join after learning that she’s the only known dog in the world that surfs tandem with special needs kids, and people with disabilities for therapeutic purposes.
